Twinstar Nano Plus

The Twinstar Nano+ is a Nano-series steriliser for planted aquariums that, according to the manufacturer, inhibits green algae and promotes plant growth without producing toxic substances or harming plants, fish or aerobic bacteria.

The unit is for aquariums up to 250 l and has three: 1 – 50–100 l, 2 – up to 180 l, 3 – up to 250 l modes. According to the manufacturer it works on thread, brown and blue-green algae and several kinds of green algae, but not on green water or black beard algae.

The unit uses the Reactor M9 reactor. According to the manufacturer plants grow up to 50% faster.

Place the reactor about 10 cm below the filter outlet. In a new tank, start 3–4 days after the substrate dust has settled; if algae are already growing, remove them, change 50–60% of the water at least twice and keep the light off for two days after installing.

The AquaCradle M90 holder is not included.
