Terrario Madidi Rainforest Fine Coconut Substrate

Terrario Madidi Rainforest is a terrarium floor substrate of fine coconut chips.

The manufacturer recommends it for tree frogs such as Hyla cinerea, tropical geckos such as Correlophus ciliatus, all arachnids such as Davus fasciatus, chameleons such as Chamaeleo calyptratus and all snakes such as Pantherophis guttatus.

It is the smallest fraction of coconut fibre and forms an even, soft layer. The fine chips are easy to spread and shape. They go well with plants, roots and stones. The chips can be used as a substrate on their own or as part of a suitable mix. Available in 5 l, 10 l and 15 l.

Match the layer depth and moisture to the species kept, and check first whether it may be kept on a fine, moist substrate. Regularly remove droppings, food remains and soiled substrate, and monitor temperature and humidity with separate instruments.
