Terrario Krau Wildlife Fine Poplar Fibre Substrate

Terrario Krau Wildlife is a very fine, soft poplar wood fibre bedding for the terrarium floor.

It is designed mainly for snakes and small mammals. The manufacturer also recommends it for all small and medium snakes, tortoises and turtles, some geckos, large and small mammals, and for egg incubation.

The very fine, soft fibres let the animal move comfortably, dig burrows and make hides. The fibres quickly absorb urine and bind unpleasant odours, making the terrarium easier to keep clean. The bedding is packed in 5 l packs, because a larger pack would crush the soft fibres too much. Available as a 5 l pack and as 10 l (2 × 5 l) and 15 l (3 × 5 l) sets.

Spread the bedding evenly over the floor; if the animal digs a lot, make the layer deeper. Remove soiled and damp patches regularly, replace them with fresh bedding and monitor humidity with a hygrometer.
