NEO Diffuser Extended Special S CO2 Diffuser 12 mm

The NEO Diffuser Extended Special S is a CO2 diffuser for planted aquariums that turns CO2 into very fine bubbles.

The diffuser disc is 12 mm in diameter, and according to the manufacturer it is meant for aquariums up to about 100 litres.

It is an Extend-type diffuser with a long tube that can be heated and bent to hook over the aquarium rim. The Special element has a low-profile cup. The ceramic disc is brown. The tube is polycarbonate (PC), which is stronger than acrylic.

Soak the diffuser in water for about 10 minutes before first use. Fix the diffuser low on the glass with the suction cups, where there is water flow. To bend the tube, insert the rubber cord, heat 1–2 cm at the bending point evenly and bend the tube against the aquarium rim. Hold it for about 20 seconds and take the cord out. A bent tube cannot be straightened again.

The set includes the diffuser, two suction cups, two practice tubes and a rubber cord for bending.
