NEO Diffuser Special S CO2 Diffuser 12 mm

The NEO Diffuser Special S is a CO2 diffuser for planted aquariums that turns CO2 into very fine bubbles.

The diffuser disc is 12 mm in diameter, and according to the manufacturer it is meant for aquariums up to about 100 litres.

It is a Normal-type diffuser with a straight tube that attaches inside the aquarium with suction cups. The Special element has a low-profile cup. The ceramic disc is brown. The tube is polycarbonate (PC), which is stronger than acrylic.

Soak the diffuser in water for about 10 minutes before first use. Fix the diffuser low on the glass with the suction cups, where there is water flow. The diffuser works with a standard pressurised CO2 system and CO2 tubing. The manufacturer recommends using it with a check valve and a bubble counter. If the bubbles get bigger, put the diffuser in diluted bleach for 5 minutes, then rinse it thoroughly.

The set includes the diffuser and two suction cups.
