15ml Drop Checker Solution

The CO2Art Drop Checker Solution is a ready-made 4 dKH indicator solution for a CO2 drop checker, in a 15 ml bottle.

It is made for the drop checker of a planted aquarium with CO2 injection. No mixing is needed, as the indicator is already included.

It is a 4 dKH solution with bromothymol blue indicator. According to the manufacturer, bromothymol blue changes colour across pH 6.0–7.6. Green with the 4 dKH solution corresponds to about 30 ppm of CO2.

Fill the drop checker 2/3 full with the solution, about 25–30 drops. Deep green means the CO2 level is right, blue means too little and yellow too much CO2. Replace the solution at least once a month so that the reading stays accurate.
