Kruger Meier Obsidian Shadow Dark Aquarium Substrate 2 kg

Kruger Meier Obsidian Shadow is a dark natural substrate for aquariums.

It suits planted tanks, shrimp tanks and aquascapes, and the medium grade also suits general aquariums.

It comes in three grain sizes, each in a 2 kg pack. The fine 0.8–1.6 mm sand makes shaping the landscape and planting delicate plants easier. The 1–3 mm fine gravel suits precise layouts and helps plants root. The rough surface of the medium 2–5 mm gravel helps anchor plants. The material is chemically inert and does not change water parameters, and the dark tone hides dirt.

The substrate is pre-rinsed, but the manufacturer recommends an extra rinse before adding it to the aquarium.
