Aquaforest -NP Pro is a medium for probiotic bacteria in reef aquariums, used together with Pro Bio S bacteria to reduce nitrate and phosphate.
It is intended for marine aquariums with corals. The manufacturer recommends it especially when both NO3 and PO4 values are high.
-NP Pro contains biodegradable liquid polymers that serve probiotic bacteria as a carbon source. According to the manufacturer, it reduces unwanted NO3 and PO4 in the water, and together with Pro Bio S these are turned into bacterial mass that corals take up as natural food. Unlike typical polymers, according to the manufacturer, -NP Pro does not need a special flow filter.
The manufacturer recommends adding 1 drop per 100 l of water every day together with Pro Bio S. With a dosing pump, use the 2 l pack at 5 ml per 100 l daily. If the temperature exceeds 24 °C, keep the opened bottle in the fridge.
Available in 10 ml, 50 ml and 2 l packs.
