Aquaforest Kalium Potassium Supplement 50 ml

Aquaforest Kalium is a concentrated potassium supplement for marine aquariums that supports coral colouration.

It is intended for reef aquariums with soft and SPS corals.

Potassium is responsible for the neurological functions of corals, and in soft corals it takes part in the transport of nutrients. A potassium deficiency makes the pink and red colours of SPS corals fade, and zeolite-based filter media can cause it. According to the manufacturer, regular and balanced use keeps potassium at a proper level and strengthens the red and pink colouration of SPS corals. The recommended potassium level in a reef aquarium is 360–380 mg/l.

The manufacturer recommends 1 drop per 100 l of water daily. 1 ml of Kalium raises the potassium level in 100 l of water by 1.86 ppm. The dose depends on the coral stocking and the needs of the aquarium.

Available in a 50 ml pack.
