Aquaforest Iron Supplement for Reef Aquariums 50 ml

Aquaforest Iron is a concentrated iron supplement for reef aquariums. Iron is an important micronutrient taken up by corals and sea anemones. It plays a role in photosynthesis, so its supplementation supports the nutrition of corals. According to the maker, regular and balanced dosing gives corals an intense green colouration, especially Acropora and other SPS corals.

Dose 1 drop per 100 l of water daily. 1 ml (about 15 drops) in 100 l of water raises iron by 0.005 ppm (5 µg/l). The recommended iron level in a reef aquarium is 0.006–0.012 mg/l. Every aquarium is different, so the dose depends on the coral stocking and its needs.
