Aquaforest Bio S Nitrifying Bacteria

Aquaforest Bio S is a nitrifying bacteria preparation that, according to the manufacturer, quickly removes ammonia and nitrogen compounds from the aquarium.

The manufacturer recommends Bio S especially in the first days after setting up a new aquarium to start nitrification, and for seeding new filter media. It can also be used in tanks with probiotic bacteria based filtration.

According to the manufacturer, the selected strains create favourable conditions for the multiplication of Nitrospirae and Nitrobacteraceae bacteria. These are the bacteria responsible for the nitrogen cycle. In a mature aquarium, Bio S speeds up the breakdown of food residues and sediment and makes the water clearer.

The manufacturer recommends adding 1 drop per 100 l of water every day for the first 2 weeks, and after water changes in a running aquarium. Shake the bottle before use.
