AquaEL Flow Heater BT

The AquaEL Flow Heater BT is an in-line heater that you control from a phone or tablet over Bluetooth in the AQUAEL BT app. It is mounted outside the aquarium on the outlet hose of an external filter and, according to the manufacturer, suits aquariums of 60–1000 l, both freshwater and marine.

In the app the power is set in 50 W steps from 50 to 500 W and the temperature to 0.1 °C between 19 and 33 °C. Day&Night mode has separate day and night temperatures with a smooth transition of up to 180 minutes. The app also shows the current water temperature and a 7-day history.

Interchangeable fittings suit hoses of 16/22 mm and 19/25 mm. Five electronic sensors switch the unit off if no water flows through it. The housing can be fixed with suction cups to the outside of the aquarium or, for example, inside a cabinet. The manufacturer recommends it for the Hypermax 4500 BT, Ultramax 1000/1500/2000 and Ultra 900/1200/1400 external filters.
