Dry food is the everyday basis of most marine fish diets. Granules hold together in water better than flakes, so they are easier to portion and less food breaks down before the fish reach it. The range includes a granule mix in two sizes and a separate plant-based food for herbivorous fish.
Herbivores such as tangs eat mostly algae in the wild, and protein-rich food alone is not enough for them. Alternating plant-based food with a standard granule mix supports their digestion. Predatory species may also need frozen food, which granules complement.
Feed once or twice a day as much as the fish eat within a couple of minutes. Switch the wave pumps off or slow them down for a few minutes while feeding so the flow does not carry food straight into the filter. Keep the pack closed and dry.
