YOKUCHI Shōka Bacteria Nitrifying Bacteria 40 g

YOKUCHI Shoka Bacteria is a nitrifying bacteria product for aquariums with strains taken from the natural environment.

It is made for starting a new aquarium, as a substrate additive and for use after filter cleaning or a water change.

The autotrophic bacteria quickly colonise the filter media and start multiplying in the aquarium substrate. They speed up the stabilisation of the nitrogen cycle by reducing ammonium (NH4) and oxidising it to nitrite (NO2). One gram holds 5 billion active bacteria, and the pack contains 40 g of product.

In a new aquarium, sprinkle 1 g, or 1 level small scoop, per 50 l onto moist filter media, wait an hour and start the filter. As a substrate additive, sprinkle 2 g, or 1 level large scoop, per 50 l onto the Ganban Power Base layer and cover with Jiban Soil. After filter cleaning or a water change, sprinkle 1 g per 100 l onto the biological filter media.
