Twinstar Light Waterproof

The Twinstar Light G (G-Line) is an IP67 waterproof LED light for aquariums with a lid. Its spectrum is made up only of six types of coloured LEDs, with no white LEDs.

According to the manufacturer these wavelengths matter for the growth and photosynthesis of aquatic plants and bring out the colours of tropical fish and plants. The light fits existing T5 mounts, or a wire mount on aquariums without T5 fittings.

The 100G measures 780 × 46 × 17 mm, has a mounting range of 789–1110 mm and draws 32 W; Twinstar recommends it, for example, for the Juwel Rio 180 and Vision 180. The 120G is 930 × 46 × 17 mm, with a range of 939–1260 mm and 42 W, for example for the Juwel Rio 240, Rio 350 and Vision 260. The spectrum is 380–780 nm.

On the G-Line page the manufacturer describes the Twinstar dimmer for control: 7 brightness levels, a 6, 8 or 10 hour timer, an on/off button and a 10-minute slow start and slow down.
