It is made for the CO2 system of a small aquarium; for a larger tank with Medium or Advanced plants the manufacturer suggests a bigger cylinder, for example a 2 kg refillable one.

Tropica CO2 System Nano Cylinder is the replacement cartridge for the Tropica CO2 System Nano – a disposable, recyclable aluminium cartridge.
It is made for the CO2 system of a small aquarium; for a larger tank with Medium or Advanced plants the manufacturer suggests a bigger cylinder, for example a 2 kg refillable one.
The cartridge holds 95 g of pressurised CO2. That is about 50 000 ml of gas. According to Tropica, Easy plants need about 3 mg/l of CO2, Medium plants about 10 mg/l and Advanced plants about 25 mg/l.
Turn the regulator fully off before changing the cartridge. The gas is under pressure, so Tropica advises protecting your hands with a towel or oven glove when mounting the regulator.
