Kruger Meier Hardscape Grid Stone Base Grid 60 × 40 cm

The Kruger Meier Hardscape Grid is a black protective grid laid on the aquarium's bottom glass before the substrate goes in, protecting it from heavy stones.

It is made for aquascaping with stones – it spreads the point load of heavy and often sharp stones and reduces the risk of the bottom glass cracking or getting scratched.

The grid measures 60 × 40 cm. The large mesh keeps stones steady while you aquascape and stops the substrate from sliding. Grids can be stacked to build terraces and raised areas. Side by side they can be joined with clips. The matte black finish blends into the substrate even where the grid shows slightly.

Lay the grid on the bottom of the empty tank, cut it smaller if needed, and place the stones before adding the substrate.
