JBL FilterStart is a bacteria preparation that speeds up the biological maturing of the filter system and the aquarium.

It is meant for an aquarium filter system that needs filter bacteria added.

The bacteria speed up the biological maturing of the filter system and the aquarium. As a result ammonia and nitrite are removed from the water more effectively and the aquarium biology stabilises. One bottle contains up to 15 million bacteria. The bottle holds 10 ml. One bottle is enough to activate a filter of up to 3 l.
