Full description
The Aquaforest Reeflow 4500 is a circulation pump with an integrated controller that can also work as a protein skimmer pump.
The pump suits reef and freshwater aquariums, as the controller lets the water circulation be tailored to any tank.
The pump runs on 24 V DC (2.75 A) and draws 53 W. The flow rate is up to 4500 l/h, the maximum head is 4.4 m, the inlet and outlet are 25 mm and it measures 180 × 95 × 155 mm. The controller sets the flow from 0–100 % in 1 % steps. For skimmer use, replace the standard impeller with a needle wheel impeller and fit the Aquaforest Venturi connector.
Feeding mode reduces or stops the flow with one button, after which the pump returns to its previous settings by itself. According to the manufacturer, float sensors protect against dry running and sump overflow, while built-in protection guards against overheating and overload. Maintenance needs no tools.
