Full description
The AquaEL Leddy Tube Plant 2.0 10 W is a replaceable LED lighting module for planted aquariums. Its light has a colour temperature of 9000 K with strengthened red and blue bands which, according to the manufacturer, match the needs of plants and support their growth.
The module draws 10 W and is 41.5 cm long. The LED module lasts a long time, does not heat the aquarium water and is easy to fit into an aquarium cover.
To judge the amount of light, AquaEL gives a rule of thumb: at least 0.15–0.2 W per litre of water for shade plants, 0.25–0.4 W/l for moderately demanding plants and 0.5–0.7 W/l for very light-hungry ones. Plants need light for 10–12 hours a day.
