Terrario Mantis Area L Acrylic Insect Terrarium, 12 x 12 x 20 cm

Terrario Mantis Area L is an acrylic terrarium for mantises, other insects and spiders.

The manufacturer also suggests it for stick and leaf insects and for arboreal and burrowing spiders.

The nominal size is 12 × 12 × 20 cm and the overall dimensions are 12.7 × 13.2 × 20 cm. The lid and rear wall are micro-perforated with 0.9 mm holes that provide air circulation and keep in even young stick insects. The high base holds a substrate layer of up to 5 cm. All walls and ventilation holes are laser-cut. Acrylic resists mechanical damage and is much lighter than glass.

The terrarium comes flat, as panels covered with protective film, and is assembled by hand. It can be taken apart again at any time for thorough washing, and rubber bands hold the assembled panels together. The heavy lid simply lifts off for care, and the animal cannot open it by itself.
