AquaEL Thermometer BT

The AquaEL Thermometer BT is an electronic thermometer controlled over Bluetooth in the Aquael BT app. It suits freshwater and marine aquariums as well as terrariums with lower water levels.

The thermometer has two sensors – one measures the water temperature in the tank, the other the ambient air. A reading is logged every 20 minutes and the app shows the history as a graph. In the app you set a minimum and maximum temperature; if the temperature goes outside them, you get an instant notification and the LED on the housing flashes. The unit measures 11.4 × 3 cm, draws 0.5 W and is powered via USB-C (power adapter not included).

Fix the body with its suction cup to the outside of the tank and put the internal sensor in the water – away from the heater and other heat sources, where the water flows well. Then switch on Bluetooth on your phone and pair the thermometer with the Aquael BT app.
